There are some rumours that Vodaphone is making Apple improve on certain aspects of the iPhone before it will carry it in the UK.
Engadget.com have reported that an unnamed source has found that Apple and Vodaphone are going through all the details with a fine tooth comb; details that are holding back a forthcoming launch.
Top of the list is to make the iPhones YouTube application “work much more like the internet version”. Other issues are improving the phones security, improving the outlook and exchange support, and improving the web browser by allowing simple tasks such aas ‘cut and paste’.
Vodaphone don’t seem to want to give up as much control as AT&T did in the US…
