Comet have 5 new discount codes that may help you when purchasing your new iPod. The codes will save you money when you spend over a certain amount and like these things usually go, the more you spend the more you save.

- AW10 – £10 off orders over £150
- AW20 – £20 off orders over £350
- AW25 – £25 off orders over £500
- AW35 – £35 off orders over £750
- AW60 – £60 off orders over £1000
Now if your just buying a new iPod, then only the first code will likely be of any interest to you as their currently isnt any iPod costing you more than £350, but if your buying say a docking station with a 64gb touch then you may well spend this much.
Now even with using these codes, Comet still is not the cheapest place to buy your iPod online, currently all their online prices are the typical high-street prices. This is not always the case at Comet as they do occasionally run web-only promotions, just not at the moment. Starting at the most expensive iPod the 64gb iPod Touch, the cheapest online price we can find today is £273.89 from Amazon and Laskys, whilst the price in comet is £306 that’s over a £30 difference and your discount will only save you £10 for spending £306.
Moving on to the 32gb iPod touch, it is priced at £234 on Comet today, so with your discount code you can buy for £224, though the cheapest online price today is £209.89 from Amazon. Similarly with the 8gb iPod touch, the cheapest online price today is £140.94 from Amazon, though at Comet right now the price is £152, so you will be able to use your discount code and receive your £10 off, meaning you will pay £142, so still not quite the cheapest online.
The iPod classic will set you back £193 when you buy from Comet, with aw10 voucher code this will make the price you pay £183, but you can buy the black version for £175.91 on Amazon and the silver version for £177.97 on Amazon.
